Gold bought over the counter, by company, region or store. Points are earned per gram at a rate set by the karat: 9ct 1.0, 14ct 1.5, 18ct 2.0, 20–24ct 2.5. Weeks are rolling seven-day periods ending on the most recent day of data, so the current week is always a full week rather than a part-built one. The table at the foot of the page has its own period picker and sets the chosen window against the same window a year earlier.
